Are you a passionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity for the upcoming school year? We are currently hiring for a position in Clarksville, TN, where you will contribute to the education and development of students with hearing impairments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students' needs.
- Collaborate with school teams, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective support.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the unique learning needs of DHH students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee teaching license with an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Knowledge of sign language and other communication strategies for DHH students.
