Qualifications:

-Valid Tennessee teaching license or appropriate certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) education

-Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred

-Experience supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting

-Ability to travel between multiple school locations

-Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

-Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

-Ability to work effectively with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

Schedule:

-Full-time position for the school year

-Itinerant role with travel between multiple school sites

-K-12 caseload

Responsibilities:

-Provide specialized instruction and educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

-Travel between assigned school sites to meet student needs

-Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student goals and needs

-Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers

-Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation

-Support students in developing communication, academic, and social skills

-Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans

-Advocate for students and promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment
