Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated DHH Educational Interpreter to join a supportive school district in Green Bay, WI. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and play a key role in supporting communication access and academic success within the classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide sign language interpretation for students in academic and school-related settings
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
• Support student participation in classroom instruction and activities
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student success
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accurate documentation as needed

Qualifications

• EIPA score and/or state licensure/certification as required by Wisconsin guidelines
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting student learning and accessibility
