Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to deaf and hard of hearing students across K-12 grades.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique communication and learning needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies that support language development and literacy in students with hearing impairments.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with program requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credentials with certification or specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
- Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing in K-12 settings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel between school sites as needed.
