Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist - Monroe, Virginia
A part-time opportunity is available for a skilled Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support one student at a primary elementary school in Monroe, VA. This position may also involve providing consultative services to other students as needed. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborating with classroom staff to support student communication and academic access.
- Providing consultative guidance to assistive personnel and other educators.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to promote development.
