We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a supportive school-based team in San Francisco, California. This full-time, onsite position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop communication, language, and academic skills.
Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours/week

Dates: ASAP – End of School Year
Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication and academic success.

Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.
Qualifications:

Active California certification in DHH (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success.
Compensation:
-
Local W-2: $65–$70/hour
-
Travel Contract: $2,400–$2,600 weekly gross pay (including tax-free stipends for those who qualify)
