We are seeking a Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide high-quality educational services to K–12 students throughout Ohio. This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while partnering with school teams to help students achieve academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual direct and consultative DHH services to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support student goal development.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Recommend classroom accommodations and communication supports.
  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction using virtual learning platforms.

Qualifications

  • Valid Ohio Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing license or eligibility for Ohio licensure.
  • Experience working with school-aged students preferred.
  • Knowledge of IEPs, special education regulations, and assistive technology.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
