Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting curriculum to promote academic achievement.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize specialized communication strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and adjusting instructional approaches as necessary.
- Engage with families and caregivers to support student development and inclusion.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Proven expertise working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Strong knowledge of language development, auditory skills, and assistive technology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive education.

Contract Details:
