What you’ll bring:
- Active DHH Teaching License issued by TEA
- Specialized knowledge and training as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
- Experience in Texas schools is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret audiograms effectively
- Strong communication skills for ARD meeting participation and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Dedication to providing individualized instruction and support
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing comprehensive student evaluations
- Participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Crafting and delivering adaptive, individualized lesson plans
- Managing and supporting a caseload of PreK to 6th-grade students
- Collaborating with educational teams and families to optimize student outcomes
- Advocating for and promoting inclusive education strategies
