Teacher of the Deaf in Oakland, CA

Qualifications:
- Active California Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing certification/license required
- Previous California school experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Clear, effective communicator with students, families, and staff
- Flexible and adaptable to work across multiple school locations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in person
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
- Travel between multiple school sites, adapting to various educational environments
