Embark on a rewarding journey as an onsite Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) supporting students for the full 2026/2027 school year. This position involves full-time hours—35 per week—from August through June 2027. You'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, working closely with SLPs, audiologists, and families to ensure comprehensive educational and communication support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Adapt and modify curricula to fit individual learning needs
- Manage and monitor assistive listening devices to support student success
- Participate in writing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Foster strong collaboration and communication with school staff, service providers, and parents
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Current TDHH License for California
- Valid California PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
