What We’re Looking For:
- Valid California PPS credential as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of individualized instruction, auditory/oral and/or sign-based strategies
- Collaborative skills to partner with general education teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to advocacy, accessibility, and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support services to students with hearing loss
- Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations tailored to individual needs
- Consult with educational team members and caregivers to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Support inclusion in general education whenever appropriate
