Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Valley Center, CA

Qualifications:
- California PPS certification for Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) is required
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students with hearing differences
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Ability to tailor instruction to individual needs and IEP goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support for K-12 students with hearing impairments
- Adapt curriculum and materials for accessibility
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining documentation and progress reports
- Advocate for students’ needs and encourage participation in classroom and school activities
