What We’re Seeking:
- Valid California DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) certification or licensure.
- Previous experience working within California schools or with similar student populations.
- Skilled in working with diverse caseloads and comfortable with itinerant travel between multiple school sites.
- Strong organizational skills and clear, proactive communication practices.
- Commitment to in-person instruction; virtual-only educators will not be considered for this position.
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct, personalized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Design and adapt curricula and learning materials to meet student goals, in accordance with IEPs.
- Monitor student progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with related service providers and teachers.
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment in each school you visit.
- Serve as a resource for faculty and families on best practices and current trends in DHH education.
