Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, adapting curriculum to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and specialists to support student development and inclusion
- Maintain accurate records on student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Participate in professional development and school activities as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certification specifically for Deaf and Hard of Hearing education
- Ability to submit to district-required drug screening and fingerprinting background checks
- Experience level ranges welcomed; pay is commensurate with expertise, from entry-level to seasoned professionals
