What You’ll Need:
- Active California DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) teaching credential/license
- Previous experience in California school settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills and effective communication
- Comfort and flexibility working across multiple campuses as an itinerant professional
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support and consultation for DHH students across various campuses
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs in compliance with state guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure students’ access to classroom content
- Maintain regular communication with colleagues and families to monitor progress and address emerging concerns
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of a dynamic, supportive educational team
