This full-time teaching role is designed for a certified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, working with pediatric students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position is based in Long Beach, CA, within a school setting, and is open to candidates willing to travel. Responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored instruction to support the educational development of students with hearing impairments

- Regularly monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
- Offering support and training to families and school staff to improve communication and understanding
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Certification specifically for teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing, or an equivalent credential
- Proven experience in creating accessible learning environments for students with hearing impairments
- Strong proficiency in communication methods such as American Sign Language (ASL), lip reading, or auditory-verbal techniques
