Certified Pediatric Teacher of the Deaf in Duluth, GA

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized, tailored instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, creating individualized learning experiences.

- Utilize assistive technologies alongside communication strategies such as American Sign Language (ASL), lip reading, and auditory-verbal methods to support student engagement and progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, adapting teaching methods to optimize learning outcomes.
- Provide guidance and training to families and educational staff to enhance communication and support systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting consistent with school policies and state educational regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students or an equivalent credential.
- Proven experience in developing accessible learning environments tailored to students with hearing impairments.
- Strong familiarity with communication methods, including ASL, lip reading, or auditory-verbal techniques.
