Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid DHH teaching certification/license in California
- Previous experience in California school environments strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to in-person instruction (not open to virtual or VOCO arrangements)
- Willingness to travel between multiple schools within the region
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Develop and adapt lesson plans and educational materials to meet individual IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Provide consultation and training for school teams to foster accessibility and inclusion
- Travel to various campus sites for student service delivery, case management, and school collaboration
