Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across various grade levels.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement effective educational strategies.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Facilitate communication access and promote language development consistent with students’ needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable laws and educational guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold an active California Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching certification.
  • Previous experience working with DHH students is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as an itinerant teacher in a K-12 educational setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is based onsite in Norco, CA.
  • Contract term begins at the end of January and continues through the end of the school year.
