An opportunity is available for an Itinerant Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to support educational programs in schools within the Hoopeston, IL area. This position focuses on providing specialized instruction and services to students with hearing impairments, ensuring their access to a comprehensive and inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
- Provide consultative services and assistive technology recommendations for students and educators.

- Travel between multiple school locations to offer consistent support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
