What You’ll Bring:
- Valid DHH credential (required)
- Proven experience using a variety of tools and technology to support Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) students
- Strong assessment skills, with the ability to conduct both initial and re-evaluation assessments
- Fluency in ASL preferred (not mandatory), strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to accurate, thorough documentation and collaborative problem-solving
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments—both initial and follow-up—to determine specialized needs and tailor educational strategies
- Utilize diverse technology and instructional tools to increase student engagement and participation
- Collaborate closely with general educators, support staff, and related service providers to create a supportive, accessible learning environment
- Maintain detailed records related to assessments, progress, and collaborative efforts
- Participate in ongoing evaluation of services, recommending improvements to maximize student success
