Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized educational sessions via telehealth, focusing on communication and learning strategies for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Collaborating with support staff and educators to adapt curriculum and materials to meet student needs
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional methods accordingly
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with educational guidelines
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in educational or telehealth settings
- Strong understanding of communication modalities, auditory and visual strategies for deaf or hard of hearing learners
