Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Alaska

Position available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students through telehealth services. This role supports educational development using remote communication technologies, ensuring accessibility and tailored instruction for students requiring specialized hearing support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support to students with hearing impairments via telehealth platforms.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the specific needs of each student.

• Implement assistive technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing preferred.
• Experience working in educational settings with students who have hearing impairments.

• Strong understanding of assistive listening devices and hearing technologies.
