Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote instructional sessions for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students using telehealth platforms.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
- Provide consultative support to classroom teachers regarding communication strategies and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communication with stakeholders.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies and remote teaching methodologies.
- Strong understanding of audiological and communication needs related to hearing loss.
- Experience developing IEPs and working within special education frameworks.
- Ability to engage students effectively through virtual platforms.
