Seeking qualified educators to provide specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in an itinerant role across multiple K-12 school sites in Phoenix, AZ. This contract position involves working 40 hours per week with mileage reimbursement for travel between locations.

Key responsibilities include delivering direct instruction tailored to individual student needs, developing detailed daily lesson plans, conducting evaluations, and writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role demands strong communication skills and dedication to supporting students’ academic and social development in alignment with their hearing-related needs.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Active Arizona teaching license for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
  • Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Ability to develop and deliver telehealth instruction when necessary
  • Competency in preparing thorough educational evaluations and IEP documentation

Work locations vary as this position serves multiple schools, necessitating travel with mileage reimbursement provided. Candidates who are willing to travel are encouraged to apply, with stipends available to support travel expenses.
