We are currently looking to hire a special education teacher specifically for the deaf / hard of hearing. This is a full time position located near Colorado Springs, CO for the upcoming 24-25 school year .
This positions primary responsibilities include organizing, preparing and implementing specialized instruction and support to our students who are deaf or hard of hearing in order to ensure their academic success.
Requirements:
- Active TDHH License in the state of Colorado
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Knowledge of Deaf Culture, language development, and instructional strategies for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
