Telehealth Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - North Carolina

Job Type:
- Full-time position, 35 hours per week
- Consideration for Extended School Year (ESY) or summer work available upon candidate interest
- Collaborate closely with on-site DHH team and audiologist
- Caseload specifics to be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina teaching certification with a specific endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Master's Degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of recent classroom experience preferred
- Previous experience with remote teaching preferred; comfortable delivering extensive tele-education services
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with other general education, special education, and DHH teachers to provide recommendations, observations, and act as a valuable resource
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide timely feedback to support student learning and development
