Hiring Remote Deaf/Heard of Hearing Teacher (Alabama)
Soliant Education is seeking to hire a dedicated and qualified Deaf/Hard of Hearing teacher to provide services in remotely to student in Alabama. Full-time applicants highly preferred.
This position is a 1099 contracted position for the remainder of the current school-year, with contract renewals available for those interested and if determined to be a good fit.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Licensed Deaf/Hard of Hearing teacher in Texas, or able to transfer from another state.
Familiarity with and ability to use assistive technologies that support the learning needs of students with hearing impairments.
Previous experience preferred.
Knowledge of and adherence to federal and state laws and regulations related to special education, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Must have up to date computer and private/stable internet connection.
Pay structure/Benefits:
Flexible hours.
Work from home.
Weekly pay, every Friday.
Negotiable hourly rate will be determined based on experience of applicant.
Tech and clinical support along the way.
Provide services to students in need.
