This full-time position involves providing support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through cooperative programming across multiple districts. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant services to Deaf / Hard of Hearing students in various school districts
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction and resource support to students in grades early childhood through 8th grade
- Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust programming as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with Deaf / Hard of Hearing students in educational settings
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple districts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of cooperative programming models
