- Strong ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching techniques to support auditory and communication needs
- Team player with excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and specialized support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt classroom environments and materials
- Consult with staff and families about effective strategies and goals for student success
- Offer resources and support about hearing technology, interpreting services, and classroom accommodations
- Monitor student progress and document academic and communication development
