Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Chula Vista, CA

Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Valid teaching credential for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or eligibility for certification
- Prior experience serving DHH students from preschool to transition age
- Proficiency in providing both direct instruction and consultative support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational teams and families
- Comfort with technology for virtual service delivery (if remote)
- Flexibility to travel between sites for in-person support (if onsite)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized educational services to DHH students in varied settings
- Consult with general education teachers to support accommodations and modifications
- Coordinate with families and IEP teams to create and implement student-centered goals
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Provide resources and training to school staff and family members
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulations
