- Strong knowledge of current best practices and technologies in deaf education, including sign language proficiency (ASL) or willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to diversity and inclusion in education.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support services to students with hearing impairments, both in individual and group settings.
