This contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a full-time, onsite commitment of 37.5 hours per week. As an itinerant DHH teacher, you’ll play a vital role serving multiple school sites and engaging with students directly in person.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active California DHH certification or teaching license (required)
- Prior experience working in California schools is preferred
- Proven ability to support diverse caseloads across multiple school locations
- Skilled at both collaborating with colleagues and working independently
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational talents
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person, specialized instruction to DHH students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Travel between school sites as the itinerant DHH specialist, adapting to the needs of various learning environments
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student growth and inclusion
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular updates and recommendations
- Implement evidence-based strategies and assistive technology to facilitate learning
- Maintain organized records and documentation for caseload management and compliance
