Teacher of the Deaf | Rozet, Wyoming

An opportunity is available for a qualified Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Rozet, Wyoming. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on providing specialized educational services for students with hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and learning materials.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide training and resources to peers and families on communication strategies and assistive technologies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student caseload and services provided.

Qualifications:

• Valid Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) license required.
• Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across K-12 grade levels.
• Strong knowledge of educational strategies, communication methods, and assistive technology related to hearing impairments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Position Details:

• Contract duration: Current school year (CSY).
• Start and end dates aligned with the academic schedule.
