Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Itinerant
Assignment Dates: ASAP – May 21, 2026
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide itinerant services to students across multiple campuses. This role supports a diverse caseload ranging from developmental preschool through 8th grade, with a focus on direct services, IEP support, and collaboration across programs.
Key Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 21 students
- Campuses: Services provided across 9 school sites
- Grade Range: Developmental preschool through 8th grade
- Service Model: Resource and specialized programs

Direct Services: Average of 120 minutes per month per student

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct DHH/HI services to students across assigned campuses
- Assist with IEP development, including hearing impairment (HI) services and goals
- Ensure timely completion of IEPs and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families across multiple sites
- Support student access to curriculum and communication needs
- Travel between campuses as required
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills for itinerant scheduling
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple locations
