Teacher of the Deaf | Marengo, Wisconsin
A school is seeking a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year to provide expert support in a virtual learning environment. This contract position involves approximately 20 hours per week and requires strong knowledge of Wisconsin's educational processes and regulations concerning students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored specifically for virtual learning environments.
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students as outlined in their IEPs to support academic and social development.
- Collect, document, and analyze data on student progress toward IEP goals to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
- Participate actively in virtual IEP meetings to maintain adherence to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requirements.
- Collaborate with educational teams to provide comprehensive support to students and families.
