Qualifications & Experience

  • Certified Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or equivalent credentials
  • Experience supporting students with deaf/hard of hearing needs in educational settings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Adaptability and a student-centered approach

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct instruction and support to a 2nd-grade student with hearing needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective learning strategies
  • Participate in assessments, IEP planning, and progress monitoring
  • Adapt role and caseload if additional students enroll
