Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Strong knowledge of various communication modalities (ASL, Signed English, oral approaches, etc.)
- Experience developing and adapting instructional materials for D/HH students
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction—either individually or in small groups—to support Deaf/Hard of Hearing students’ academic, language, and social development
- Collaborate with general education staff to facilitate accommodations, modifications, and consistent support across classroom settings
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and review of IEPs
- Provide consultative support to educators and families on best practices for accessibility and inclusion
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust strategies as needed
