Make a real impact supporting students across multiple age groups as an educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing instruction. This contract-based position offers the opportunity to work closely with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing vital assistance throughout the district near Little Rock, AR. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s-level degree in Education for Teaching and Deaf Students
  • Current State Teaching Certification in Deaf Education
  • Experience working with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students (K-12)
  • Ability to travel between school sites within the district
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across grade levels
  • Collaborate with general education and specialized teams to develop and adapt educational materials
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to encourage growth and achievement
  • Assist classroom teachers with inclusion, accommodations, and modifications to ensure all students have access to the curriculum
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans

This role offers a competitive pay range starting at $36 to $40+ per hour, depending on experience, with a minimum of 30 hours per week across 5 days.
