Seeking an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support a K-12 school in Mansfield, Texas. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of students ages Pre-K through 6th grade.
- Conduct evaluations and interpret audiograms.
- Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to develop and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with school staff to provide tailored instruction for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) teaching license through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is required.
- Prior Texas school-based experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of deaf and hard of hearing instructional strategies and assessment techniques.
Work Details:
- Contract position from January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026.
- Full-time or part-time availability, with 21 to 35 hours per week.
- Work schedule includes a minimum of 3 days up to 5 days per week, typically seven-hour days.
