Empower students as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing supporting K-12 learners in an itinerant role for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. In this contract position, you’ll work 20 hours per week with schools in the Danbury, NC area, making a meaningful difference for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instructional support and consultation services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students

  • Assess student progress and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings
  • Provide resources and guidance to families and school personnel on Deaf/Hard of Hearing needs
  • Travel between assigned school sites to ensure continuity of services
