What you’ll bring:
- Valid and active state certification or licensure for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Strong skills in individualized instruction and accommodations for hearing-impaired learners
- Previous teaching experience in a similar capacity is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Passion for supporting diverse learners across multiple grade levels
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a full-time caseload of students across several sites
- Providing both direct and consultative services to students
- Developing and updating IEPs in partnership with educational teams and families
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and administrators for student success
- Utilizing adaptive technologies and supports to facilitate access to the curriculum
- Serving as a resource to school staff for best practices in deaf education
