- Skilled in using multiple communication modalities, including ASL and spoken English
- Effective collaborator and communicator with educators, families, and support staff
- Passion for promoting accessibility, inclusion, and student self-advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Adapt educational materials and classroom environments for optimal student access
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to support student growth
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress and needs
- Assist in IEP development and meeting participation as required
