Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Deep understanding of instructional techniques, language development, and assistive technology for students with hearing impairments
- Experience in classroom or resource settings supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt lessons, modify curriculum, and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with sign language (ASL, SEE, or other relevant communication methods)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction that meets the unique needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in both individual and small group settings

- Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and other support staff
