Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - North Wilkesboro, NC

Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid North Carolina Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license
- Demonstrated expertise teaching or supporting deaf/hard of hearing students in K-12 settings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Comfortable adapting materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Skilled in progress monitoring and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to deaf/hard of hearing students based on IEP goals
- Consult with teachers and staff to facilitate inclusive classroom practices
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
