What you’ll bring:
- Active and up-to-date license as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
- Previous experience in similar environments is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- A passion for empowering students with hearing impairments to reach their full potential
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting instruction to meet individual needs
- Travel between various schools, offering expertise as an itinerant specialist
- Collaborate closely with classroom educators, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Support IEP development and implementation, ensuring compliance and goal achievement
- Advocate for students’ access to resources, communication tools, and academic success
