A full-time Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is needed for a school district in Columbus, GA, supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year from August 3rd, 2026 through May 21st, 2027. This contract position offers approximately 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will serve a caseload likely spread across multiple school buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Maintaining daily logs to document services provided, as required by the district.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Georgia Educator Certification for Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
