Key Responsibilities:
- Provide American Sign Language interpretation and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Assist in instructing foundational skills, including reading, writing, and mathematics readiness.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Manage communication access to ensure students can fully participate in classroom activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education (equivalent to at least 48 semester hours) from an accredited institution, or an associate degree or higher.
- Demonstrated proficiency and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics through formal state or local academic assessments.
- Hold a valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Educational Interpreter License.
- Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
Work Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Onsite position based in Green Bay, WI.
- Contract ending May 29, 2026.
