Remote Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Oregon
Seeking an experienced Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education to provide telehealth services in a school setting. This contract position involves delivering specialized instruction remotely to support students with hearing impairments, ensuring accessibility and effective communication within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing via telehealth platforms
- Develop and modify lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to monitor student progress and implement intervention strategies
- Utilize specialized technology and resources to enhance learning experiences remotely
- Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in compliance with educational standards and protocols
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing required
